Kitchener Budget

Kitchener is seeking input on its 2018 budget. Two issues we'd like to see get attention in the next budget are:

  • Better options for keeping sidewalks and trails clear of snow and ice
  • Hiring of a second Active Transportation Planner, without which the city won't be able to complete its plans for more cycling and trail infrastructure and may lose out on upper-level government funding for cycling

Use the form below to contact your city councillors to let them know your priorities for the next budget. And if you can make it, the city is hosting a public meeting for input at City Hall on Monday January 15 at 7pm.
